Christina McDermott - Managing Director

Christina McDermott graduated from University College London in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in History. Since then, she has worked extensively as a journalist, copywriter, community manager and social media specialist. She has over a decade’s experience of working with some of the world’s best known brands.

Her work has seen her create social media strategy, community management campaigns and branded content for Unilever’s portfolio of global food brands; including Knorr, Stork margarine, Flora, Wall’s ice cream and Magnum. She has also worked on branded content and content strategy for Marks and Spencer, John Lewis and Jaguar USA among others and provided community management and influencer outreach services to Aldi UK supermarkets and The Bel Group’s portfolio of brands (Babybel, The Laughing Cow, Boursin and Leerdammer).

She has also worked extensively as a food writer and influencer with her work being featured in the Guardian, the Independent, The Times,, Manchester Evening News and Vice among others. In 2012, she was nominated as Food Blogger of the Year in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards.

Christina currently lives in Merseyside with her husband and a growing collection of cookbooks.
